The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea -- CCCK -- is a non-profit organization serving the business needs of intra Korean-Canadian trade.
Our primary means of doing so is through company membership. Our company members participate in a range of activities that allow them to better coordinate and expand their business operations. Our member company members consist of:
Representatives of Canadian companies having or seeking business links in Korea;
Representatives of Korean Foreign companies having or seeking business links in Korea;
Canadian citizens working in Korea
Korean citizens with ties to Canada
Companies that serve the business needs of our members, through website, consulting, marketing, accounting, investment banking services, and the like.
Our members also include government entities and cover the entire range of small firms to large corporations.
In order to serve the business needs of our members, the CCCK organizes business luncheons, forums and seminars. We also provide social events designed to bring together members and the Canadian and Korean community.
Keeping abreast of pressing issues requires that we work closely with embassy and government officials. Further, we provide government agencies with Korean-Canadian trade data to allow them to assess the benefits of Korean-Canadian trade.
CCCK social events are geared to our members, and to the Korean and Canadian community as a whole. Our largest annual event is the annual Terry Fox Run; all the proceeds of this event are donated to Korean cancer research.
The CCCK believes that business needs are best served when companies become an integral part of the community of their host nation.
